Thanks for the help, Winterbay! :D
Unfortunately, I already "fixed" it by manually completing the Friars. The weird part is that, before, it set both Friars and Friarssteel as completed, despite me having a Max Drunk of 14 rather than 19. After I completed the Friars, however, it correctly...
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be fixed. Now there was no intervention at all on my part, and the script decided to mark [friars] as complete, but it's not. ATNP HC, currently level 8. I realized when it failed The Infiltrationist while getting the fledges.
Edit: Is there any way to mark a...
First of all, thanks to Bumcheekcity for a wonderfully-written script. That said, I think I iz ztoopid, because I can't figure out a few things about the script. I've been running it with minimal user interaction to ascend MOX HC NP and bank some Karma. It seems to have a few issues:
1) If you...
Version 0.29 fails on the nuns, reporting a loop of "nothing more to do here". Now, I don't remember if you could access the Themthar Hills without an outfit before, but the script doesn't equip any outfit, and one is needed.
Is there any way to prioritize familiars differently than the default script would? For example, when running +items I'd rather have a Slimeling than my Jumpsuited. I know that's not optimal, but I can benefit from the Slimeling's MP regeneration.
I must be completely honest with you, this works MILES above what I expected from an automatic script. However, there are some issues which I'm either too stupid to fix myself or aren't taken into account by the script itself. I am using it to complete a full HC ascension as Moxie, and it's...
Maybe this info's redundant, but...
FYI, it's working without (apparently) any weird behavior on the latest build at the time of writing (r9098).
Except it keeps using all my meat to buy restoratives.
Stupid weak unskilled character.
I am sorry, but I fail to understand exactly. Please let me understand. We're talking about 2 computers, work and home.
Home has ssh server and proxy.
Work has Putty.
This is where I get lost. Could you explain it a bit more in detail? I have a machine I could run a proxy and ssh server 24/7...

That's exactly what I was looking for. Stupid me, how could I not notice? :)
Thanks, slyz, I'll try it up as soon as I have a second and check whether this can help in pinpointing the problem. In the meantime, I'd like to thank everybody who helped so far, I really appreciate it :)
Isn't there a way to have a verbose log of what Mafia tries to do while connecting? That might give us a bit more insight, after all the proxy settings specify port 8080, which JMap reported as being one of the two open ones. I don't have extensive or in-depth knowledge about networks, but I...
Ok, I finally tried this (sorry, was sick for a while). Results are:
199 Ports Scanned
2 ports open
197 ports dropped
0 ports closed
Only ports 80 and 8080 register as open. What could this mean?
That may be a possibility. At least it would give us (if I may be so bold as to suppose you'll keep helping me, for which I'd be very grateful ^_^) some more empirical evidence on what's wrong... Which other Java program could I try to use?
Sorry to insist, but I'd really like to use Mafia from work. Most of the times I don't have the time to keep following the game regularly, and the help Mafia provides is invaluable. Can anyone help me? :(
The weirdest thing ever is that connecting to KOL from work through the browser works perfectly fine, but no amount of tinkering with the Mafia settings will allow me to connect. I've tried pretty much every settings combination so far.
Edit: Is there any way to have a log of what Mafia tries...
