Trouble with mafia

Hey quick question for the last week or so or daily build mafia does not let me make food or potions I have all the skills needed and the items but it seems like it does not see I have the skills maybe. Anyway the only thing I can think to do is delete my Kol mafia file and re-install. Any thing I should try before I do this. Thanks for any help

Do you have a chef-in-a-box and have you checked the box labeled "Require in-a-boxes"? Either uncheck the box (at the top of your creatable tab in the item manager) or get an in-a-box to fix that.

That's usually the problem I have when it won't let me use my cooking/mixing skills.
