Bug - Won't Fix Trouble learning rave combos

I tried disabling Greasemonkey and restarting Firefox, then entering combat in the relay browser and executing the rave steal combo manually, followed by using a dictionary. Mafia didn't learn the combo from this multiple times. I tried the executing the following CCS (that's not an excerpt, it's literally the entire CCS) from the relay browser in combat, it simply simply attacked with my weapon when I ran it. When I used each component of the combo manually, the steps showed up at the bottom of the page above the combo helper table, just like they normally would.

From the gCLI example, it looks like it was never set to use the CCS rather than Attack with weapon.

The CCS literally only had the random rave command in it. My hunch is that this was failing to execute, in the same fashion putting in a skill you don't have would fail to execute. In the absence of anything else in the CCS, it probably defaulted to attacking with a weapon. It most definitely was set as my CCS, and I was clicking on the script button to the left of the skill dropdown menu at the top of the relay browser combat pane.

Edit: logging back in after an extended period of time has allowed the random rave option to appear in the DB combo helper table at the bottom of the combat screen. It still isn't learning any combos, however.

Well, did you actually tell mafia to USE the CCS though? The script button only applies your current combat action... you still need to tell mafia to run the CCS. If your action is set to Attack with weapon, it will happily Aww until the monster is dead or you are.

Change to the Adventuring tab, Click on the Custom Combat sub-tab, Set action to custom combat script.

Since we don't have the fight text we can't figure out much. It's obvious the combo was used and not learned, over and over. Perhaps using other combos manually would have worked.
 
I had attempted other combos as well, none stuck. Hopefully rollover will mysteriously provide a cure. I'm not sure the fight text would provide any clues, is there something I should look for? Everything looked entirely normal when I entered the combos manually, right down to the steps being stored at the bottom of the combat screen.

When I've had it stick, it's usually because my rave list has gotten corrupted somehow... maybe check your preferences file and clear what's in there regarding rave combos while mafia is closed, then check it again.

If that does fix it, could be related to the Fortune Cookie bug where part of one character's preferences bleed into another character.

Well, that's it for my thought-set. :( Shouldn't matter... did that to fix my DB character with stuck rave combos during Crimbo, but yours are already blank.
 
Just now I tried using mafia's autoadventure to learn combos (no browser anywhere in the equation), battle action was set to the same aforementioned random rave combo CCS. Here's the results of two combats:

I'm not sure the fight text would provide any clues.
When lost used those words, I am sure he was referring to "the fight text as seen in a debug log that covers an entire fight". I am sure that I would not begin to try to debug this problem without having a debug log showing me every URL that was submitted and the resulting response text.
 
No debug_date.txts were generated. Here is the entire session log from what I posted minutes ago. Is there anything more I could post that would help identify what's going on? These were the only two turns I ran on the account after this past rollover, so I've got plenty more for testing.
