Since campground is looked at at startup, kolmafia always knows whether we have a telescope. Could it use it as part of the "tower (complete)" and "tower (to shadow)" quest automations. It would then know that I (for example) needed a mariachi G-string on level one, and wouldn't have to adventure there to find out, it could abort and save a server hit and an adventure.
I can't remember the last time I manually climbed the tower!
