Um. Maybe it should stop at one or two?

(this reminded me to turn off auto-update, at least)

One for each registered script. I welcome your patch to determine that a failure for one URL predicts a failure for another. It is not as easy as it seems, especially if hammering a DNS server is discouraged.
 
I suppose catastrophic failures on this level are pretty rare, but I thought the reason they were all failing at once was that they were all hosted in the same (ish?) place? Do I just have a completely wrong idea in my head?

(i'm not exactly an expert on this stuff, as you might or might not have noticed)

Most are there, but a few are hosted in other places. Many people have Guide. Some have the Ascension Planner. Both are still checking for updates, as they aren't on SF.

There may be others as well...

I don't remember what script this is:

fluxxdog-coding-trunk-superdrinks is at HEAD (r8)

But it seems to be working too?
