The following are no longer being used and consequently don't still belong in defaults.txt

lastGalleryUnlock
lastManorUnlock
lastPyramidReset

Have other preferences been abandoned?

There are quite a few around quest tracking that could be abandoned, though I have so far been setting them based on quest settings to avoid breaking scripts.

I selected these three not because they are unnecessary, but because I noticed that they are no longer being set by mafia. If you want to set them to retain compatibility for old scripts, then that should be done.

lastGalleryUnlock is not set when the ghost is visited on the second floor of the manor, so you should add that or remove the preference.
lastPyramidReset is no longer set when the pyramid is first visited, so you should do that or remove it.
lastManorUnlock is completely pointless since the manor no longer needs unlocking. Automatically set it to the current ascension every time a new life is begun?

Decided to get rid of them, as it's months now they haven't been set for, and no one has commented about script issues caused by it.
