It's cool that they now show up in the item manager food and booze tabs, respectively. However attempting to consume them from there doesn't do so, in my experience. The count is decremented but the items are not consumed. They seem to be invisibly queued; then the next time a regular consumable is used, the tacos or thermoses are actually consumed. IIRC, in both cases that I saw this, they were consumed when I used a spleen item.
