Issues with this:
- we do not track whether Big Brother has been rescued. That would be easily done by noticing that choice #299 option #2 has been taken. After the fact, we could deduce it by the presence of a bubblin' stone in inventory or a successful visit to Big Brother.
- we do not track whether you have bought a damp old boot yet. Nor, for that matter, do we track if you have bought any of the "once per ascension" items from Big Brother - especially the maps, which don't actually go into inventory. This Bug Report speaks of that.
- even if you have freed Big Brother and have not yet disposed of the damp old boot - either because you didn't buy it or because you have not selected a reward for it - trading it for the wallet is not the only option. If you don't have a fishy pipe, you might want that, instead.
I am planning on working on Big Brother a bit soon, so I will take care of the first two issues, at least.

Perhaps the third issue could be taken care of by having the link say "Trade a damp old boot for a damp old wallet" and have clicking on it simply go to Big Brother's store. That way, if you (naively or otherwise) follow the instructions on the link, you're better off than before -- but it gives you the opportunity to do something else with the boot if you'd like. The keys to making this useful, however, are the first two points, since if you've remembered to use the boot (for whatever) then you won't need a reminder.
