Bug doesn't make anything interesting

Couldn't find this issue if it's already here -- for what it's worth I did read this. I nearly always get the 'Using X doesn't make anything interesting' message as a delayed reaction following each auto-creation that [use]s an item. It looks like this (taken from the console):

Using 1 disintegrating quill pen doesn't make anything interesting.

I can't think of what could possibly trigger that unless it's timing-related; the error appeared a few seconds after I mined the last cell. It also happened after I successfully did 'create mediocre lager'; I wish I had more context.

OK, update: it seems I was wrong about the error being random. I've tried several things and putting on a custom outfit in the relay browser seems to trigger it consistently (dunno about other types of request).

Does it always trigger the error about a disintegrating quill pen?

I can't be sure about always, but it has never failed since I started looking for it (which is admittedly recent =P) and I just did it with a fresh mafia on a minimally equipped character.

Also manually equipping a single item in the relay browser seems to trigger the error if it helps. Gotta try unequipping.
