Can't launch mafia 9109

Mafia won't launch. Standard procedure (working yesterday) is to use Rinn's auto updater. Today it just pops up the dos box and then... nothing. Highest numbered mafia .jar is 9109 in the folder. Manual launch of KoLmafia-9109.jar also results in nothing. 14.4 works fine.

Win XP, Java Runtime 1.6.0_24

Since 14.4 works, I'm not requesting tech help. I'm posting here instead of a bug/script thread because I have no idea what is the origin of trouble. Just making a note in case others hit the same problem. Will test/work with someone if this is a real trouble and not just my incompetence.

Wasn't that the version that didn't compile properly, and a new version was released about 7 minutes later?

Lolz, it appears so, as everything is cleared up with 9110. For the record, it was at least two and a half hours, societies had risen and fallen...
