Can I run mafia on my chromebook?

Thread title, basically.

I just bought a chrome book, because my previous laptop threw it's hand in, and i'm stuck as to if I can run mafia on it. I've had a look about the internet, but currently all signs point to no.

I know nothing about them, but at a minimum you'd need to support running Java and probably JavaScript. Can it ?

Short answer: no.

Potentially yes, but you'll need to run the Chromebook in developer mode which involves fully wiping it and possibly having it accidentally wipe if you ever mis-click on a reboot. In developer mode, you CAN install Java on a Chromebook. Just don't expect any good support if/when anything and everything goes wrong.
