Modifier Maximizer and Greatest American Pants

My farming multi has a pair of these pants, for reasons I am not currently entirely sure of, but anyway. Everytime I ask the MM to maximize on items it puts on these pants and this is nice since there is a feature in them that give me an item bonus.

However the farming script I use currently does not use this in any way. Is there a way to automatically get the +item-buff from the pants and do it no more than the maximum times allowed?
