Casting Saucy Salve in Combat

I am trying to make a simple combat script using ASH. All the skills are casting except Saucy Salve, and I am not sure why. I just forever get KoLMafia think it is casting the skill but not actually casting it. It looks like this:

All my other skills cast just fine. This is the sample code I am using.

It says I am gaining HP, but as I mentioned its not "actually" casted, KoLMafia just think it is. With the while loop, I let it try ~10 times and it kept just repeating

except the KoLMaifa thinks round would go up by one. Going into the Relay Browser I still had the same hp and the monster was just sitting around in the stun still.
 
I put a waitq(5); in the while loop and let it run for a bit longer. It got a few of them to cast this time?

What is going on is that KoLmafia thinks the round increases, but Saucy Salve has a chance not to take a round, so KoL and KoLmafia get out of sink.

Everything is working as expected here.

This skill is a quick-cast skill. A quick-cast skill has a chance of being a free action, i.e. not using a combat round. There is a 100% chance to get the first free action, a 50% chance to get a second free action, and a 25% chance to get a third free action. According to spading information at this thread on the HCO forums, a free action never occurs more than 3 times per fight. This needs re-spading after the Sauceror skill revamp.

Just for future reference, KoLmafia could never invent a number of HP that you gain. It only reports on what information is sent by KoL. If it says, "You gain 12 hit points" it means that KoL really did print a message about you gaining hit points.
 
Yeah I realize that now, I was really confused because nothing else was taking place. This is the first time I have heard of "quick casting" things. I haven't played with mages before.
