The The Towering Inferno Discotheque lets you visit there once/day wearing velvet. It would be great to have a way to track this visit other than a visit_url() page check.
A _discothequeVisited preference would be cool.

You can visit the gift shop in velvet, right? It's only the (collective set of) other options that are 1/day.

The gift shop is eternal and does not require you to wear any velvet to shop there.

The other 6 options require velvet and are collectively a once per day option.

Right. So, we don't record if you "visit the disco wearing velvet". We remember if you successfully take a choice other than the gift shop.
