    re-implement ASH xpath function in our current version of htmlcleaner. This one has an argument to specify the html you want to parse.

    xpath( html, xpath_expression ) => aggregate string[]

    Would it be possible to have both versions? If I use this for ChIT I'm going to be executing a series of xpath commands on the same html. As I understand it, this will require parsing that same charpane into XML each and every time.

    Another idea that wouldn't hurt is an hml_to_xml() command and then I can save that xml to use as an input to xpath.

    Yeah. I didn't like some of the specifics of how I implemented the other one so I didn't re-do it. I will, once I sort it out in my head.
