Bug - Not A Bug Gear changer oddities with recent builds

I don't know when this happened but I noticed that with builds r14296 and newer, in accessory slots, the (X max) information is a bit different. When an item has a restriction on the number that can be worn it is correctly displayed but if there is no restriction then the number replacing X is equal to the number I have in inventory.

Example: Jolly Roger charrm bracelet (216 max)

Is this intended behavior?

I don't recall anything that could have changed that.

My question is: does it matter, or is it just cosmetic? Are you going to go ahead and try to equip 216 accessories because of what the Gear Changer says? Just try, I say, just try. Tell me how you did it.

It's definitely cosmetic.

I guess that could be changed (I remember it wasn't too hard to show 1 for single equip accessories), but I don't think it matters enough to bother.
