Git error trying to clone mafia

updated https://wiki.kolmafia.us/index.php/Compiling_from_Source I copied the Linux git vs. http instructions. Thanks, Linux instruction writer! I took a first stab at Windows instructions. If someone can take a look at those, it would be great. Specifically, I have two questions: 1: Can we...

Git error trying to clone mafia

You were! There was a missing step. It worked for me because I had a git SSHkey already set up. If you're going to save your code back to GitHub, it's a good idea to go ahead and use the SSHKey version, but it's not absolutely necessary.

    daily deed for getaway campsite

If it gets really complex, or you want logic to it (like "click once if ! CloudBuffs, then once/smile"), then you might want to write a script and have the command be your script's name. That's how I have an autoscend button.

    daily deed for getaway campsite

So, based on this wiki page, I think you want something based on visit_url, like this: visit_url("monkeycastle.php?pwd&action=buyitem&whichitem=3997&quantity=1"); There are lots of examples of visit_url in, for example, the autoscend repository, but you can also turn on verbose logging and see...

Feature Allow adventuring in Drunken Stupor (if you try to do so on purpose)

I'm not keen on the command you're suggesting, since it still might be called accidentally. However, if we came up with a new command, which was well documented and to be used at your own risk, I could see it having value for those special cases. Something like drunkventure with appropriate...

    Feature ResponseMakingUtilities

I've been hitting them with the label when I see them. It's a useful feature, and I'd love to see more use of labels.

    daily deed for getaway campsite

Hmm. It's a noncombat adventure. You may need to craft a URL and use visit_url()...

    daily deed for getaway campsite

If there's a real live preference that can be checked, use that. Otherwise use a dummy preference. For my "I need an autoscend button" Custom deed, I created a preference called "autoscend_button" and set it to false. This keeps my button on the panel at all times. If there is an actual...

So, I am also very much a novice when it comes to custom deeds. I assume you've found them in Preferences, so you've seen the big help button on the right. Since the event isn't an item or a skill it's probably best as a command. In the Builder (the thing that comes up when you press "add...

Bug - Fixed Code scanning alert

Heck no! 1, 2, 3, 6, 96, I can't find it. Mostly what I was doing was documenting the tool. We'll have to also cover the CLI and maybe the gCLI login command. Or find where they start taking the same code path. But either way, it seems like a wise precaution. Up where it shows 96 steps in...

Bug - Fixed Code scanning alert

I don't know if this helps you, but here's a thing I did that didn't help me... Choose Code scanning alerts Choose an alert Choose show paths Browse through the 96 or 114 steps the scanner thinks it takes to get there.

Bug - Fixed Code scanning alert

Where do you think it's coming from? We may have to look at several ways to log in, including ASH/JS commands. For example, I don't think we sanitize KoLmafiaCLI.java's attemptLogin(username)

    Linux/GitHub/Test Help

Aside: I want to improve the all-or-nothing model of matching exact file contents vs. script output. Not sure exactly how. Maybe we could have a data object (possibly in a script.tests folder or somewhere) that had something like an array of values to check. Something like...

    Linux/GitHub/Test Help

Well, MacOS shares line endings with Linux, so that's not the issue. As an experiment (which can be discarded), I added trim() to the strings. Why? Looking at the first line of the success and failure... expected: < Torso Awareness (0 mp) ... but was: <Torso Awareness (0 mp) which looks...

Bug - Not A Bug swing border is sometimes null

Update: it's a bug, but not our bug. Reported to FlatLaf team, they fixed it. I will test with their snapshot, but since it was rare, I don't know when I'll be sure it's fixed... Will update FlatLaf when it's released.

Bug - Not A Bug swing border is sometimes null

I have seen this once or twice, most recently today. Generally it's more likely to come up if I leave the GUI open overnight. Since it dumps it to the console I don't tend to look at it until after I quit. It doesn't stop execution, but it's vexing. I'm putting this here to remind me to look...

    Version Labeling incorrect?

This is what I was reading. It's complex, but it's related to the work-tree, not the working directory. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/20642980/does-git-dirty-mean-files-not-staged-or-not-committed-glossary-conflict I think I agree with the answer that says "A working tree is said to be...
