Bug - Cannot Reproduce Very strange happenings

-Unable to adventure using the relay browser, clicking on any location causes mafia to hang until I tell it to abort. No CLI output is generated during the process.
-Autorecovery will not fire during auto adventuring, it instead adventures until getting beaten up.
-During auto adventuring, the progress bar in the adventure tab fails to update its text. Rather than displaying how many adventures of the amount queued it has gone through, it keeps displaying whatever the last message was - that dance counter message should have gone away several adventures ago.
-Clicking on my HP in the relay browser results in mafia saying it's attempting to recover HP, then hanging indefinitely. Clicking on it again queues another HP recovery, while noting mafia is still in the process of its first attempt (> CURRENT: restore hp > QUEUED: restore hp).

No debug logs have been generated by mafia. Curiously these problems only set in after using mafia for a little while. I first started noticing this on build 8440, switching to 8448 did not alleviate the issues. I tried turning off Bale's autorecovery script, but it didn't help either.

I've been having these problems as well, or well, mainly while trying to adventure after mafia decides that I should heal up in the relay browser. It casts 1 lasagna bandages and then hangs itself doing nothing.

ETA: During automatic adventuring if it gets stuck it is possible to unstuck it by using "cast 1 lasagna" which it does and also casts therest of the ones needed...

Well there's not a whole lot of information there to try and diagnose with. I only recall seeing something like that once and shutting down mafia completely and restarting made the problem go away. The knee-jerk reaction is to look at non-mafia items - are you running any scripts? Relay overrides? Greasemonkey or other browser extensions? Until you (or anyone else) can reproduce it with plain vanilla mafia and a plain vanilla browser it isn't necessarily a serious mafia problem.

The usual comments about corrupted files or files with incorrect information apply. You might consider backing up your CCS, Relay, Scripts and Settings directories and blowing away the complete installation. If things work you could then gradually re-introduce files and preferences until you know what broke things. Note, BTW, I listed what I believe are the only places user generated info is stored but I could be wrong so be paranoid if there are settings or preferences you want saved. The information about the state of your character (demon names, id'd potions, etc.) is often too important to lose or recreate.

I'm not trying to be snarky as much as I am trying to let you know why it seems like your problem is being ignored.

I tried a fresh installation and everything seems to be working, though I'm only using Bale's recovery script. I'll probably slowly migrate everything over, perhaps this for the better, in order to get rid of the years of rot that has potentially built up.

This issue has struck again, and is only affecting my characters in ronin and hardcore. Updating to the latest daily build did not help. The relay browser is unusable for adventuring, and it continues to not autorecover during automated adventure, both with Bale's script enabled and disabled. I'm very confused, because this issue started happening again seemingly out of the blue, IE, I hadn't updated or changed any scrips, or switched to a different version of mafia.

In the event it's helpful I've got the full bug report from that was generated over the course of everything else I did that day. However it's an enormous amount of text. The site won't let me upload it since it's 42,623KB. It crashes Notepad, Visual Studio opened it fine though. I also don't know how to cull the useful information from it.

Lots of changes to stability and not-getting-caught-in-a-pending-state have happened in the intervening years, so I'll close this.
