How can I fight a faxed monster from an ash script, and use combat filters?

Well, run_combat() will use current automatic combat settings. That allows you to use a CCS, but not a combat filter. I don't think that mafia has a mechanism to allow you to use a combat filter on a monster that appears as a result of using an item.

I think you need a feature request for buffer run_combat( string filterFunc ) to run the combat after you use the faxed monster using visit_url().
