I'm skirting community norms by posting this but I thought it would be of general interest. dj_d (a.k.a. Dan Shapiro), original author of Ascend, EatDrink and several other scripts is behind a KickStarter project to produce a board game that teaches pre-schoolers key concepts of programming.
