    Also, is it really worth stasising in the basement (which is what it was doing there)?

    Thirty meat per round of Candyblast (3022) isn't a bad profit if I'd been in ronin, which I wasn't. I applied my Candyblast hack to batfactors.txt and a proper kill was made.

    So, that's party an existing bug (over estimating the profit from Candyblast), but WHAM/SmartStasis shouldn't stasis me to death, which is the problem I'm looking to squash.

    If I think I'm making progress, I'll hold off ascending until Sunday. However, there's nice weather to complete with playing online. Deeper into the basement I go. . .

    Theoretically this while-condition should stop it from continue till your dead, but I guess the last part is what is the problem possibly.

    If you changed that, it would always stasis forever instead of stopping when the round is getting late...

    Interesting fact: WHAM already skips Stasising altogether if we are in the basement. The problem is that Mafia seems to fail to update my_location() to "Fernswarthy's Basement" when you are in the basement. It stays at none (or possibly what it was before, not sure since all the times I've tested I had only been in the basement). I should probably file a bug report for that if I can verify it.

    Well, I've dived pretty deep into the basement (361 floors @ level 20) and WHAM did very very well. It timed out (round > 25) on a few fights when another clobber would have won, but that's just fine. I noticed a bit late that autoBasement was buffing to fight monsters, so that made the job a little easier. When I disabled that code, WHAM did just fine, wow. I'm going to call my previous WHAM problems basement problems fixed. I certainly couldn't recreate them.

    Here's a discussion item...how about if you have MMJ in your inventory, and you're short on MP and WHAM can't figure out a safe way for you to kill the monster, it considers using the MMJ to then see if that would give it a way of killing the monster (safely).

    For example, I'm doing an HCO PM run and I didn't notice my mood dropped me too low on MP before my next adventure (I had told it not to automatically restore from when I was playing turns early on). WHAM used entangling noodles, then aborted because it couldn't kill the monster. I funkslung 2 MMJs and used Weapon of the Pastalord (what WHAM had been using) and went on my way.

    But, that's up for debate I guess if someone would want WHAM to use up their restores (especially if they were low on meat and/or couldn't buy cost effective ones).
