.jar and win7

I'm sure this has been posted or brought up previously, but my search yielded no dice. When I run a .jar it just brings up the not associated with any type of program and asks to search the web for appropriate program or select one.

What is the solution to make it run kol mafia.

I have win7 pro, for ref.

ok I solved this right away, I forgot I didn't have java installed...
