KolMafia on N900, Maemo 5 - Is it possible?

Hi everyone,

for a while now, I've been searching the market for something that could fit my needs perfectly. I wanted a shiny that would, all in one machine, be a GPS, a mobile internet device, a phone, easy to use and to work (for me, at least) and that could run KolMafia when I'm at work. I'm recently showing more than a passing interest for the Nokia N900, which so far fulfills almost all of these conditions. Before burning 500€ on a piece of electronics, though, I wanted to ask the Mafia aficionados... Is there any way to run KolMafia on this amazing little tool?

Does it handle java SE (standard edition)?
If it only handles ME (mobile edition), it won't run mafia.
(applies to anything you want to run mafia on)

OK, so quick google says N900 doesn't have java by default, and installing it is not as easy as it should.

"As easy as it should be" = just select it from an app updater, click, wait, have it work.
The only articles about "it works" I have seen (and I only read titles in google results) mentioned repartitioning, which isn't exactly consumer-level procedure.
