What should the syntax for a CLI command look like? There's just allowing unparsed wishes, there's copying the existing script, or it could be something completely different.

I was thinking something reminiscent of the "cheat" command. A combo of direct options and categorized options.

    cheat sheep
    cheat stat moxie

If I understand, some things like "pony" would be direct, "effect" or "fight" would have effects or monsters as argument, and so on.

I haven't really thought it through enough to have a strong opinion, however - especially since I haven't even looked at the existing script arguments; I've just used the relay script - which I am tired of doing, since I want to automate it.

Yes. "help genie" to see the syntax.
