How to run Counter Script between manual adventures in the relay browser?

Until now, I've been handling counter checking with get_counters() in my pre-adventure script, because I'm a cretin.

I recently decided to convert that functionality over into an actual counter script. After a few growing pains, the main issue I've found is that the script doesn't run when I'm adventuring via the relay browser. So I'm missing counters when that happens. Is there a way to change this behavior (like relayRunsAfterAdventureScript)?
 
Yes, I've got my script selected there. That's what causes Mafia to run it between automatic adventures. But it doesn't cause it to run between manual adventures. (Like selecting a post-adventure script in that interface, which causes it to run after automatic, but not after manual, adventures. That's why there's a preference for the second behavior.)
