r16635 adds this item; we'll need to figure out what limitmode this puts you in, what restrictions that adds, and other items / effects / monsters / whatever.

I am quite looking forward to trying this out.

Let's hope it doesn't have special "leaderboard only" rewards which can be won more than once per player, a la the Spelunky boards, as opposed to how the Grim Fairy Tales rewards worked.

Although, considering that Jick said he LIKED the way the Spelunky rewards worked (unlike all but, say, 5 of the players), I'm not too sanguine about that.

In a recent radio show he said, "Cubeof11 is not getting bored dominating the Spelunking leaderboards and it's been a year, so I didn't want to create another one of those situations." That makes me hopeful he finally gets it.

In limit mode batman, KoLmafia makes the mistake of decorating the charpane with Effects and a link to burn extra mp. Since I don't currently have effects in batman limit mode, it just adds my counters. It would be better if it did not do that.

My second time as Batfellow, I notice after a number of combats that limit_mode() was not set! I hit the refresh button and that works.

Interesting that it only noticed the Gotpork Conservatory of Flowers after I hit refresh. It's somewhat less surprising that it still doesn't recognize it as the last place I adventured.

It would be really nice if it could recognize my adventuring in Gotpork locations so that I could know when I was scheduled for the next non-combat.

It is probably not a huge surprise that I didn't get my limit mode properly reset upon returning from being batman.

Looks like ApiRequest.updateStatus() intentionally doesn't load api.php when there's a limitmode (it becomes a CharPaneRequest() instead), and that's what gets called from "refresh all".
