I'll list all the bogus "Unknown Adventure" logging I've gotten this year, and will also comment on other weirdnesses in the vicinity.

Code:
[564] The Haunted Laundry Room
Encounter: the cabinet of Dr. Limpieza
...
You acquire an item: blasting soda

[566] Cook 1 bottle of Chateau de Vinegar + 1 blasting soda
You acquire an item: unstable fulminate
Crafting used 1 each of bottle of Chateau de Vinegar and blasting soda

equip off-hand unstable fulminate

[565] Unknown Adventure #399
Encounter: steam elemental
...

[566] Rest in your bed in the Chateau
You gain 140 Mana Points
You gain 111 Enchantedness
You gain a Mysticality point!

[566] The Haunted Boiler Room
Encounter: coaltergeist
1) Why was the cooking given adventure #566, when the previous adventure was 564? (It didn't actually take a turn)
2) When I went to the Haunted Boiler Room, it did not recognize the location, but it did have the correct turn #
3) Next time I went there, it knew where I was.

Code:
[696] The Dark Elbow of the Woods
Encounter: Butter Knife? I'll Take the Knife
You acquire an item: eldritch butterknife

[697] Friar Ceremony Location

[697] Unknown Adventure #438
Encounter: Fallen Archfiend
...
use 1 Orcish Frat House blueprints

[698] Orcish Frathouse Blueprints
Encounter: The Infiltrationist
Took choice 188/3: frilly skirt (equipped) + 3 hot wings (5 in inventory)
choice.php?pwd&whichchoice=188&option=3
You acquire an item: Cap'm Caronch's dentures

equip pants swashbuckling pants
Encounter: Step Up to the Table, Put the Ball in Play

[700] Barrrney's Barrr
Encounter: Arrr You Man Enough?
1) OK, 438 is "Pandamonium" in an Ed run. This was my first Ed run, so I did click on it and discover it was not, in fact, a portal to Hey Deze.
2) However, I do notice that when I went to Barrrney's Barrr after using the Frat House Blue Prints it did not log it as "[699] Barrrney's Barrr" for some reason. Looking at my session logs:

Code:
grep -nH -e "Step Up to the Table" Veracity_2015*.txt

Veracity_20150317.txt:2193:Encounter: Step Up to the Table, Put the Ball in Play
A-yup. Every one of those fails to log the turn # & adventure location.

Code:
[1068] Unknown Adventure #437
Encounter: Nobody Ever Thinks To Go Back To the Newbie Zone

[1069] The Secret Council Warehouse
Encounter: warehouse guard
OK, fine - again, this was my first Ed run. I guess we couldn't figure out the name of the location I first went there, since we'd not seen api.php or charpane.php when we submitted the URL. But when we registered it as a temporary location, we did know the name.

Code:
[614] The Haunted Laundry Room
Encounter: plaid ghost
...

[615] Unknown Adventure #399
Encounter: Bram the Stoker
1) I am sure I was given the fortune cookie "nag" screen. That means when we submitted the URL, it had an extra "confirm0=on". Did that screw up the location detection?
2) However, when I did "counters" after this, it did not know the adventure location; it just told me "last semirare on turn 615".

Code:
eat 1 optimal dog
You gain 4 Adventures

[439] Unknown Adventure #399
Encounter: Bram the Stoker
1) More of the same. I am sure I got the nag screen, and "counters" did not remember where the semirare came from.

Code:
[420] Twin Peak
Encounter: Synecdoche, Twin Peak
You acquire an item: miniature boiler

eat 1 optimal dog
You gain 4 Adventures

[421] Unknown Adventure #399
Encounter: Bram the Stoker
A-yup. This is my current run. So:

> counters

Last semirare found 127 turns ago (on turn 421)

Unexpired counters:
Semirare window begin (33)
Semirare window end (73)
Spookyraven Lights Out (1)
I am puzzled, however, if this is an issue with "nag" screen, why it is only showing up with Bram the Stoker. In fact, looking at my session logs for this year:

Code:
grep -nH -e "Bram the Stoker" Veracity_2015*.txt
Veracity_20150112.txt:620:Encounter: Bram the Stoker
Veracity_20150117.txt:2531:Encounter: Bram the Stoker

Veracity_20150209.txt:2679:Encounter: Bram the Stoker
Veracity_20150212.txt:3053:Encounter: Bram the Stoker
Veracity_20150217.txt:3789:Encounter: Bram the Stoker
Veracity_20150222.txt:151:Encounter: Bram the Stoker
Veracity_20150303.txt:2289:Encounter: Bram the Stoker
Veracity_20150313.txt:1739:Encounter: Bram the Stoker
Veracity_20150315.txt:3783:Encounter: Bram the Stoker
Veracity_20150317.txt:3427:Encounter: Bram the Stoker
The first 10 logged like this:

Code:
eat optimal dog
You gain 4 Adventures

[835] The Haunted Boiler Room
Encounter: Bram the Stoker
And only the last three - from 3/13, 3/15, and 3/17 - logged at "Unknown Adventure". So, something changed between 3/3 and 3/13.

Revision 15603 will log the url to the gCLI and session log any time we generate "Unknown Adventure #xxx". That won't fix this, obviously, but should help us figure it out.

I went to the Haunted Boiler Room in the Relay Browser when the fortune cookie expired. I was in Eclipse, with breakpoints set to let me watch the whole process. It worked exactly as expected.

What do you want to bet that next time I try it NOT in Eclipse it will fail? :)

Well, at least I have extra debugging in 15603 to let me see the URL, at least.
