Bug - Fixed Modifier Maximizer errors trying to retrieve "unknown item -1"

Get the same result for 'item' and 'meat', but 'hp' seems to work

I can't reproduce this. You're using 15517, correct?

Since there are a few weird reports lately, what Java version and OS are you using?

Actually, I saw it eventually with "maximize item" but only after 400k combinations were checked. No problems with "maximize adv".

Any chance of adding a "2 dump" to the list so we can see which items might be being suggested but not able to be turned into an item number ?

I'm getting this as well and am unable to reproduce it reliably. If it happens, it happens repeatably, then I can change my outfit and the same maximizer command works correctly.

I have this in Eclipse right now. I stuck a breakpoint at the line which prints that message.

InventoryManager.retrieveItem(int, int, boolean, boolean) is called with:

itemId = -1
count = 1
isAutomated = true
useEquipped = false

In other words, it is explicitly being told to retrieve one of itemId = -1.

That is being called by Maximizer.acquireDuplicateEquipment( final AdventureResult[] newEquipment ).

I'm looking at that right now. I see that quite a few of the slots in newEquipment are EquipmentRequest.UNEQUIP - which has an id of -1. I think that it's clear that the Maximizer need not make any effort to "acquire" that item.

OK, try revision 15520. That will no longer try to "acquire" EquipmentRequest.UNEQUIP.
