Would you be willing to update SmartStasis to recognize when the flyers are no longer usable? I, accidentally, clicked on the stadium rather than the Frat House for prior to fighting The Man and, from that point on, SmartStasis tried to flyer everything even though I no longer had the flyers.

KoLMafia added improved quest tracking that should allow SmartStasis to determine when flyering is no longer possible.

If the quest is finished, when you used the flyers they are removed from your inventory, with "The Rock Promoters are long gone, and the scheduled day of the show has passed. You toss the stack of flyers in a trash can." If mafia isn't tracking that correct, you should report that some place else. I haven't tried it myself.

It seems that lostcalpolydude submitted a change last night and r14475 may fix the issue. I'll have to try again after I ascend.

Another problem that only happens "sometimes"... SS tries to use the indigo cup twice. My batfactors is up to date.

It's been a while since I added that code but I do think it adds it to BatBrain's blacklist and as such it should be avoided by SS as well as long as you call SS via WHAM.
 
So I was looking at this code again tonight. First I have a question, then another completely unrelated observation.

If I wanted to cut out the 3 rounds (megadrone) of bjornified stasis, can I just comment out the one line, line 542? The goal is for the megadrone mana to power combat without taking three extra rounds of damage.

ETA: Um, no, that didn't work.

The observation is the mayfly section. I just got spring break and had been doing those quests, and the wiki says you can get beach bucks with mayfly bait. You can also get Freddies in Dreads, according to the wiki.

Getting back to trying to solve my issues. Maybe this is as easy as tweaking zlib BatMan_profitforstasis = 15.0.

I have changed it to 0.

Admittedly, after only a handful of afterCore adventures, maybe that's the tip I needed all along.

*edited* Yeah, I get it now. At profitforstasis= 0 when I'm going to take dmg every round, SS just hands off to WHAM like I want it to, after doing the custom actions (i tested with siphon spirits). When I'm taking no damage, it adds in the stasis loop (for the bjornified megadrone mp). I'm still blacklisting saucy and bandages until I test some more.

Damn, now I can't ascend again until after I get back from my wedding trip next week.

So SS keeps killing me, and I don't really know why. I set profitforstasis to 0, and it keeps queuing up seal tooth until I'm dead. It primarily seems to do this when I'm working with a starfish type familiar. I wish I knew where to look to keep this from happening. I've posted a copy of a single turn done with SmartStasis at verbosity = 10, in case that helps anyone. Any advice?

Figured it out. ProfitForStasis is the *minimum* profit for stasis, not the maximum. So to prevent stasising, make profitforstasis higher. I've got it now.

first, I'm glad I'm not the only who has been having issues. second, so what did you change it to? like 50?

I went crazy overboard, and set it to 10000, but that's because I'm trying for a 2-day run, and I don't want to waste any turns by accidentally getting myself killed.

Today I noticed that SmartStasis was still trying to collect pirate insults on the Poop Deck. I thought there had been a change some time back to stop trying to collect insults after gaining access to the F'csle.

Found it in post 1159. Hmmm.....

The check seems to be in the code. Perhaps questM12Pirate wasn't set properly this run.

Edit: It seems that questM12Pirate isn't set until you get the password to Belowdecks. Is there any reason to care about finding pirate insults once you have access to the F'csle?

So it seems that getting the Pirate Fledges is step 6 of the quest and KoLMafia has a check for that. Is there a step 5 that can be checked?
 
From my pirate script that uses quest tracking:
Step1 have Cap'm Caronch's booty
Step2 have frat house blueprints
Step3 have dentures
Step4 step up to beer pong
Step5 is passing Beer Pong and opening the F'c'le
