Bug - Fixed Speakeasy: Drinks no longer show is item manager / usable / booze list

The speakeasy drinks are not shown in the booze list. Prior to recent builds, could go to the speakeasy in the relay browser to get the drinks to show; this no longer works.

Sounds like it's part of work-in-progress on virtual items etc., so this may not be news.
 
Classic dev response ;-) Yep, can't fix something that you can't see.

So there seems to be some variance in speakeasy-related operation, and from at least one other thread, I'm not the only one. I'll have to think about possible connections to this. I'm just using plain chrome (Version 36.0.1985.143 m), no add-ins of any sort. Java 1.7.0_51-b13. One speakeasy drink left for the day, checking directly. Clan KOL Addicts. Aftercore at the moment, but same issue in-run earlier. Exited / restarted mafia, same issue. Could try different recent releases to nail down exactly when this latest behavior started to appear. Maybe after upcoming rollover.

Best would be to look into recent source code diffs - I believe it's accessible, right? I haven't looked into that yet.

Anyway - the behavior is real.
 
Yep, that's what I was thinking, but best to be complete. Also, the earlier behavior of drinks being picked up after visiting the speakeasy in the relay browser was related, even if only triggering a check via other means.

How much Meat do you have in inventory?
What do you see when you do this in the gCLI:

get _speakeasyDrinksDrunk
 
Meat: >50k in-run, >1M aftercore

get _speakeasyDrinksDrunk = 0

No speakeasy drinks used today (visiting shows can have 3 more).

Let's see a DEBUG log of you logging in or refreshing your session or even just visiting the speakeasy in the Relay Browser.
I assume that the gCLI says "Visiting the Speakeasy"

OK, scratch that. I have no reason to believe that we are failing to read your speakeasy drinks correctly when you visit, but revision 14493 makes it easy to check that without a debug log.

Confirm that we did, in fact, visit the speakeasy and did, in fact, find all the drinks that your specific clan has available.

And if the drinks do not appear in the Booze section of the Item Manager, I have literally no idea of how that could happen - other than you not having enough Meat to afford them or having already drunk 3 of them today.

(You are aware, of course, that drinks are sorted by adventure yield and that if you have enough really good drinks in inventory, the best Speakeasy drink - the Flivver - may not even be on the first page of available drinks in the Item Manager?)
 
While waiting for the next hourly build to show up with that change, I tried a few things in r14490. Checked the debug logs, etc., and it looked like it was finding the drinks - just not displaying. So I started toggling the checkboxes. Turns out the speakeasy drinks show up if the "turn-free" checkbox is cleared. But these don't take turns...?
