Bug - Fixed Fratkill count off?

Not sure if this is really a reportable bug, but there ya go.

Having completed all three hippy sidequests as Sneaky Pete, and accompanied by a rocket-launching motorcycle, I get this win message:

1 frat boy defeated; 208 down, 792 left.

Motorcycle rocket launcher blasts 3 extra fratsmans

One frat boy? Surely not.

Nope. But KoL has a bug and hides the accurate info if you have the rocket launcher. Sucks that there are KoL bugs that have been reported to them that aren't fixed, neh?

Aaaah. Thank you! The guys are too busy driving their solid-gold Ferraris to fix bugs, I suppose.

I can 2nd this, I was getting the 1 kill message, along with the 3 from the motorcycle, and it finish the war before predictions.

And... it's still a KoL bug. However, because mafia is awesome, if you visit the Island, it will estimate roughly how many frats are actually left based on the image. Isn't it great that mafia will help you partially avoid KoL bugs?

Well, if the fratkill count is now properly reporting, the new/old mafia bug would be not counting the +3. Unless it does... :) But yesterday, it still considered it as a single kill instead of 4.

Did this fix the bug where r13748 didn't actually work?

Edit: Quote from yesterday's session logs:
1 hippy defeated; 73 down, 927 left.

1 hippy defeated; 74 down, 926 left.

1 hippy defeated; 225 down, 775 left.
The jumping is from me manually clicking on the island to refresh the count, but mafia only ever tracked +1, rather than +4, as you can see from the first two fights quoted... 73 to 74, rather than 73 to 77.

Nothing will be fixed without including the text KoL provides. I don't ever plan to take the bike upgrade that speeds up the battlefield.

Today I got "7 hippies killed" when I had done two side quests so it seems to be adding those three just fine.

On a whim, I took that bike upgrade today. I'll see for myself, by and by.
Not that Winterbay's word isn't good enough. :)

Now I see that the only code to account for the Rocket Launcher upgrade is there for a wossname warning. I don't know what response to check for to account for it (since mafia currently uses the response rather than just knowledge of how many quests it believes are done), but it would be added around line 1090 in IslandManager.java.

I don't understand how Winterbay got that result.

The text ingame said the normal thing about kills and then added that the rocket launcher killed another three. Is there any chance Mafia managed to match that with the code that matches padl phones or something?

Which is a bit odd I find. Why did finishing a quest remove the extra 3?

Unless it changed, the fratkilling rocket launcher has different text, which is listed in post 1.

Edit: But I see from the SVN logs that it fuzzy matches that, so... yay. :)
