KoL says in this case: You don't have enough Karma for that...

However, KoLmafia thinks you're perming it anyway, and records your new Karmic balance as negative, which is clearly a bug.

Note that this situation can only occur after a Casual ascension, with less than 89 Karma banked.

r13854 may stop this. Sounds like a KoL bug to have the button there in the first place though, did you report it ?

No, I have not reported a bug KoL-side. It didn't occur to me that this might be a KoL bug.
