Supporting the Black Day effect from post-holiday sale coupon perfectly would be a bit of a nightmare. Would need to account for it with more complex code and decision-making everywhere NPC purchases are involved.
However, it might be easier, more useful and more cost effective to purchase and use one post-holiday sale coupon (if you don't have Black Day effect) each time you are called upon to buy something from an NPC that costs more than 10 times the mall value of the coupon, and are out of hardcore/ronin.
