Bug - Cannot Reproduce NPE when trying to buy a gift item from mall

I was trying to use a bag of airline peanuts, then tried to buy one when I realized I didn't have any, and the found out it was a gift item. I got a debug log, I don't remember if it was after trying to use them or buy them. r12309

I can't reproduce this, but there's also a lack of information about what interface was used when trying to buy and when trying to use items.

The debug log shows that he was executing a chat command from the CLI.

I hadn't tried those before, but they aren't giving a debug log now, with or without having one in inventory already. It's possible some code refactoring for other purposes somehow fixed this, I guess.
