Ok, I tried out Onyx and cleared all of the relevant caches. It still doesn't work. I'm thinking there's some per user java setting that I can't find that's causing all of this.

Nope, there's nothing there with java/jdk/jre in the name.

The only ones I found were openjdk folders, moved them but the problem still persists. I also tried to clear it from the java control panel as well.

To further confirm, I created a new user account on OS X and it works fine (just like it did for dave). So...something is screwed up with Java on this specific account.

I also downloaded a new version of KoLmafia to make sure it wasn't corrupt and also I completely deleted the KoLmafia folder in Application Support and emptied the Trash to make sure. Pretty...

I tried this. I get the error with my main and with a multi on a fresh install.

I downloaded the latest JDK version (1.7.0_21) and ran from the command line. Still have the error, attaching the output.

By the way, I tried clearing the cache and that didn't work. I also tried a reinstall of java and that didn't work either. Not sure what else to try.

I tried a rudimentary version of this where I just decreased the initial monster hp by a given value. This unfortunately doesn't work very well, there are a lot more considerations that need to take place.

Any chance we could get a WHAM zlib variable to get a monster to a specific hp instead of killing it?

I am in a boris run, I assumed the issue had something to do with the juju masks intrinsics being colored. I won't know if your fix works until tomorrow when I'm able to get an intrinsic effect with it again.

This version isn't working for me with a juju mask on and gaze of the volcano god.
