How do I use the .patch file?

I would like to make my own CCS to deal with the Fun-Guy Mansion. I have little programming experience and would like to know how to go about this. Would I need to parse the whole text for the dislikes? Basically I want to read in the dislikes, then decide on the best combat action to perform.

Question: Is it possible for when the script checks for certain familiars, such as Obtuse Angel, to include the Reanimated Reanimator? Because I only have reanimator and the script will fax lobsterfrogmen but doesn't check for it before the fight. [Edit] : Also how do I add killing jar to the...
