Ok, what happens is that identifying bottles updates Inebriety to properly set the drunk level for that bottle.
So, it would set "dusty bottle of zinfandel " to 2.
Unfortunately mafia later asks for the Inebriety of "dusty bottle of 'great' zinfandel" doesnt find it and returns 0.
This could be...
I have the bounty and the goal and i am at r12209.
I do not know how to reproduce your problem sorry.
If you give up and re-take it, does the goal return?
Did you choose the bounty when not running mafia?
Thanks!
Amazingly, in my day job, I never use anything other than integers.... Sadly... So I didn't trigger on that. (Yes, I knew it.. but unused info goes stale :)
As for the other, yeah I am still learning the structure of Mafia... I appreciate the feedback.
This patch, should handle the...
No, I expect they turned that on or someone told them to turn it on. It is a big draw of mafia. I personally know many people who have asked where the general spoilers went and were directed to that setting.
They won't however know that it is hindering their understanding of this puzzle...
So, I occasionally do try to solve such puzzles on my own, but with the way it is now, an unsophisticated mafia user won't know to turn that off or perhaps even not know that they are not getting the correct images.
Also, mafia already has a place to handle this and does so for the dusty...
I tried to reproduce this.
I cast ode (manually) and adventured it down to 2 turns left.
Then told mafia to drink 4 sir schlitz.
It correctly cast ode before drinking.
If I had to guess, it is something with the dusty bottles being dynamic.
I will try that after rollover.
edit: Yes trying it...
Ok, this patch will buy and use gum to get a worthless to get a hermit item.
And, of course use the hermit over the mall :)
This should fix it for all scenarios... or so I think :)
So, the problem is that the Hermit CoinMaster wants WORTHLESS_ITEM (go item 13 !!! ) and getCount(inventory) says you have none.
I got it to use a worthless from inventory with this patch.
I don't think this should be THE fix... more of a demonstration of the problem.
And if you have no...
I "tweaked" findfamiliar to lie and say i had a collective. Told recovery to only use free rests and it tried to rest 7 times. (The last 3 were NOT free since I had lied.)
I do see a problem for axe/jarls runs though. In those findfamiliar will return not found, but the free rests still work...
Do you mean copying the globals file to a users_default file or just having user settings allowed to override ANY global setting. If the second option, what would need cleaning up in the global file later? (Would it not still matter for a new user?)
Just making sure I understand what is being...
