    Interestingly, I noticed this WASN'T happening today, though nothing had changed in my setup - still older chat, still r27866. Was there actually a KoL bug that was causing this, even though it only appeared in Mafia?

    This is only going to narrow it down a little, but it was likely after I installed build 27750 on December 23rd when I started seeing it. My previous build was 27697.

    It does not. I just don't use that because I find I am likely to miss chat happening in other channels/tabs with it.

    When I loaded r27647 again, the script menu was normal. Both of these settings were at their defaults. I guess Mafia glitched out trying to load preferences yesterday.     r27647: All my user scripts are missing from the Scripts menu. See screen shot. Load Script opens to the right place and I can run my scripts from there. In r27636 the Script menu works normally. I switched back to that version for now.
