Mafia Chat: Event Notifications

Whenever I use mafia chat, event notifications show up in all tabs; Not just the "[events]" tab.

I am aware that there is a function to disable the notifications all together.
However I would still like to see them, just not in tabs especially /clan, /trade and private messages.

Am I missing anything here that could limit them to only display in the [events] tab?

How are we going to green-screen people if we add that feature?

IIRC, it used to be that events only went to [events], but then (some) people complained that they weren't notified enough (iow that they wanted to see what's happening without changing tabs; especially in cases with many tabs, when [events] isn't necessarily visible without scrolling, so you wouldn't even see *that* something changed). So events returned to all tabs.
